Flu Free Washington

Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness and can sometimes lead to hospitalization or death.


Anyone can get the flu, but some people are more likely to become seriously ill, including young children, adults 65 and older, pregnant people, and people with certain health conditions.
