1996 ANNUAL REPORT

We, the Washington State Patrol, answer our citizens' call for public safety.


Image of 1996 report cover The 1996 Annual Report was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Washington State Patrol. The Report highlights milestones throughout the 75 year history of the agency as well as an expanded awards section to recognize the efforts of outstanding employees.

In addition to the following tables, analysis of accident records showed a highway death rate of 1.42 per 100 million vehicle miles traveled in the state of Washington in 1996.
