Born during a thunderstorm and struck by lightning at the moment of
birth, he was empowered with a unique condition known as Conflagration
Phobia-mania, which means he's a tough guy who hates fire. (He hates
germs, too.)
Smoke burns him up. Not literally, of course. But it really makes
him angry. So, he dedicates his life to making our world safe.
