Fire Fatality Reporting

Photo of Fire Protection staff RCW 48.48.065 requires any death resulting from fire to be reported to the Office of the State Fire Marshal within two business days. A short form has been developed to assist agencies in providing important statistical information regarding these fire incidents.

Submission of this information may be accomplished by any of the following methods to the attention of Deputy State Fire Marshal Melissa Gannie
