WSP Commendation Process

Would you like to commend a Washington State Patrol employee for a job well done?

It is the policy of the Washington State Patrol to handle compliments received from the public (by letter or electronic mail) in the following manner:

  • The compliment will be forwarded to the employee's local commander.
  • The compliment will then be forwarded to the employee.
  • The information will be placed in the employee's personnel file.
  • It may be forwarded to the editor of the agency internal newsletter for possible inclusion.
Please forward your compliments by e-mail to questions@wsp.wa.gov. Include as much information about the employee as possible (e.g., name, badge number, location of service, etc.).
