WSP Commendation Process

Would you like to commend a Washington State Patrol employee for a job well done?

It is the policy of the Washington State Patrol to handle compliments received from the public (by letter or electronic mail) in the following manner:

The compliment will be forwarded to the employee's local commander.

The compliment will then be forwarded to the employee.

The information will be placed in the employee's personnel file.

It may be forwarded to the editor of the agency internal newsletter for possible inclusion.

Please forward your compliments by e-mail to questions@wsp.wa.gov. Include as much information about the employee as possible (e.g., name, badge number, location of service, etc.).

If you prefer to address your compliment in writing, send it to WSP Headquarters at:
