The FLSB Library provides comprehensive forensic research support for the casework and scientific publications of the Crime Lab and Toxicology scientists. 

In addition to maintaining an extensive collection of forensic-related books, journals, reports, and audio-visual material, the Library also compiles articles and information that reflect current research in our laboratories’ primary fields: Chemistry, DNA, Microanalysis, Toxicology, Firearms, Questioned Documents, and Latent fingerprints.

The Library also seeks to share its resources with other scientific and law enforcement organizations and does so by a variety of means:

The Library’s holdings are available to borrow through a number of worldwide union library catalogs.  The Library fields requests for forensic research information from both public and private individuals and organizations. The Library provides a Table of Contents alert service so that subscribers can remain current with new issues of forensic-related journals.
