Are You a Consumer With a Warrant Question?
The Office of the State Treasurer receives numerous calls from consumers regarding warrants.  Usually the calls involve uncertainty as to the purpose of the warrant or a request that the warrant be reissued since it has passed its 180-day statute of limitations.  Although the State Treasurer prints and signs all state warrants, they are issued by the individual agencies.  Therefore, if a consumer has questions about a warrant, they should notify the agency who issued the warrant.

How do you know who issued the warrant?  If you look at the face of the warrant, there is a row of small boxes in the upper right portion of the warrant.  In that row of boxes is an agency number which indicates the issuing agency of the warrant.  Below are the most frequently called agency numbers:
