As part of the national One-Stop initiative,
our goal is to connect employment, education and training services at local, state and
national levels, both electronically and at the WorkSource center. For job seekers this
means that you will no longer have to fill out forms with the same information more than
once, and that services are available from one site. For employers the on-line options
provide a wealth of information and the ability to decide when you want staff assistance,
or want to find workers and information on your own.

The Employment Security Department (ESD) is one of the main agencies in the WorkSource
system. The employment and training programs that have traditionally been offered
through ESD are now available through WorkSource. WorkSource offers an wide array of
services to both businesses and job seeking customers. Qualified referrals to jobs,
on the job training, assistance with placement, workshops, specialized services to
Veterans, Dislocated Workers, low income, and Unemployment Insurance Claimants are all
available at the WorkSource Center.

The mission of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is to enable
individuals with disabilities to obtain and keep employment. We believe
every person has a the right to work and that working can help a person live
more independently. A person may be eligible for serves from the Division of
Vocational Rehabilitation if he or she has a disability which causes
significant difficulty finding or keeping a job. DVR is able to provide a
variety of services focused on enabling its participants to overcome their
disability related barriers to employment and to achieve their vocational
goals.

Our
Mission: Educational Service District 113, in partnership with our diverse
educational communities, is dedicated to the success of all children
regionally.
ESDs
legislated responsibilities are to:
Assist
school districts in providing cost-effective, quality-education programs
and facilities
Provide information and consultation services to local school districts;
Assist in providing equal educational opportunities for all students
throughout the state
Act as liaison between local school districts and the Office of
Superintendent of Public Instruction;
and Deliver
programs mandated by the Legislature, assuring an environment for
excellence in education.

Centralia
College is
the oldest continuously operating community college in the state of
Washington. Founded in 1925, the College has a rich heritage of vocational
and transfer programs serving the community.
- The
College has an enrollment of approximately 3,100 head count with
1,825 FTEs. There are approximately 160 full-time employees. The
college is located in the center of the town of Centralia on a
tree-lined 17 acre campus.
