Project Description A ReadyCorps team based project sponsoring 10 AmeriCorps members in the Spokane Public School District and other community based organizations. ReadyCorps is an AmeriCorps*VISTA initiative to increase the readiness of communities, especially low-income communities, throughout the state of Washington to respond to disaster related disruptions. Activities for this team will center on the development of after school programs relating to disaster preparedness education activities for students including the eventual development of School Emergency Response Teams (SERTs)
