Individual members are placed with local community based organizations, non-profit organizations, schools, city and county government entities to address unmet local needs of the community in which they serve. There are four major priority areas for these projects: education, environment, public safety and human needs. Individual Washington Service Corps (WSC) projects are clustered with other projects in their geographic regions. In doing this WSC members will feel and demonstrate a greater sense of the service ethic and connection with the national service movement. |
