completing environmental restoration projects in partnership
with community groups, government agencies, businesses, and
nonprofit organizations. Members will also lead community
volunteer events. The King County community will benefit with a
legacy of restored fisheries and upland habitat; thousands of
native trees, shrubs and wetland emergents planted; an improved
sense of community; as well as the full enjoyment of wildland
habitat in parks and open spaces. Most
days are spent outside. Tasks may include weeding, planting,
trail construction/maintenance, stream & wetland work, and
maintaining tools and equipment. |
