Project Description
Fifteen talented, responsible, and dedicated members will be
placed in seven public schools located in three school districts
in the Walla Walla valley. These members will serve as tutors
for students struggling with literacy skills and academic
performance. One member will be placed as coordinator of the
mentoring children of prisoners project. In addition, members
will be responsible for facilitating a civic engagement
curriculum to youth ages 11-13 and planning and initiating
multiple service projects to meet the needs of the community. |
