We offer workshops designed to prepare you for your job search and achieve your employment goals. To get started, you are encouraged to attend our Orientation to Services every Wednesday. Workshop descriptions are provided on the Calendar.

Training Opportunities and Other Services

If you are looking for a job, or trying to find a better job, you are encouraged to use our Core Services, including our Resource Area and Workshops, at no charge. To get started you should attend our Orientation to Services workshop offered on Wednesdays. A counselor will be available to help you organize your job search activities. If you discover you need more than our Core Services to reach the next step in your employment goal, your counselor will check to see if you are eligible for additional services, including testing and training activities. Or you can read about other on-site WorkSource programs and services which may be available to you, including training.

Whether you need a little or a lot of help, this section is for you! If you have never created a Resume, you may want to come in for a free Resume Workshop, just check out our Workshop Calendar for times and days.

If you have a job counselor here at WorkSource, you can receive one-one-one help to develop and/or revise your Resume. You can also get help in learning how to post your resume online to www.go2worksource.com and other job search websites.

Our self-service resource room here at WorkSource Thurston County has a free computer program called WinWay Resume software. Just come in and use a computer in our resource room during regular business hours.
