As a Boeing employee, you may have unique layoff options that could affect your claim for Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits. You may also be entitled to Commissioner Approved Training (CAT) while drawing unemployment. We have prepared a series of frequently asked questions (FAQ) and answers which will help guide you during this time of transition. The questions and answers are separated into those which affect your UI eligibility, and those that relate to re-training opportunities.

Training Benefits are available for individuals who have been laid off and need job-related training to find work. The Training Benefits can increase the total number of weeks you are eligible to draw benefits.

We have provided some links from the General FAQ page which will provide you with career assistance and labor market information in the State of Washington.  Our agency, being the state's largest employment agency, has a number of resources to directly assist you in job placement or link you with job-finding or training resources.  We will update this site as new information becomes available.

NOTE: The Application for C.A.T. and the Training Benefits Packet were created in Adobe Acrobat; you will need the free Acrobat Reader to view them. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it for free from Adobe by clicking on the Adobe icon.
