| 2.) Open up an Excel spreadsheet. Enter your starting number in a cell and press and hold the CTRL key on your keyboard. |

| 3.) Keeping the CTRL key pressed, click the fill handle of the cell and hold it. The fill handle is seen in the image. You click on the fill handle by placing your cursor over it and pressing the left button on your mouse. The cursor will change appearance. |

| 4.) Continuing to keep the CTRL key and left-mouse button pressed, drag your cursor over the range of cells you want to put consecutive numbers in. Let go of the mouse button and then the CTRL key. The numbers should automatically appear. |
