How to Get Help

Contact your local User Support Coordinator

Review the SKIES Training and Reference Manual 2003 (Version 2.0).  The manual is divided into sections for easy referral.

Review the Guides, Desk Aides, and Screen Viewlets, a series of active slide shows that demonstrate a number of SKIES functions, such as an overview, elements of the screen, how to get around, use of the tool bar (including case notes), field types and binocular search.

Things to know when you call the Help Desk

What screen/form/ tab is causing the problem

Job Seeker, Employer, or Provider name

Job Seeker SSN (if appropriate)

What is the Oracle message, if any (for more information, put cursor on the Help tab and select Display Error)

If the system has locked up, what were you trying to do when it happened, (for example, registering a job seeker, entering employment information, assessment, etc.)

If information didn't pre-fill or save, what were you doing on which screen/form/tab when it happened

Is the problem with only one computer, or many, (how many)

Which url are you using to access SKIES (the Help Desk can help you find this if you don't know)
