Addition of Contract
data to Employment and Work Readiness Plans Seeker Programs: Misleading "Save" alert message Issue: On the Job Seeker - Seeker Programs screen, when a user selected "Exited Program" as an Exit Outcome, then selected "Unsubsidized Employment" and "Create New Placement" button, a pop up window appeared prompting user with message - "Save all changes and create a new job placement record?" The user would then create a new placement record and attach it to the Program Enrollment record. If the user clicked on the "Door" icon to leave the screen, any changes that were made to the record were not being saved. Because of the first message "Save all changes and create a new job placement record?", users were under the impression that the changes they made to the record had already been saved, thus didn't click the save icon to save any new changes to the record. Fix: 1) When the user clicks on the "Create New Placement" button, the prompt "Save all changes and create a new job placement record?" will no longer appear. This message was an unnecessary step, that has been removed. 2) In addition, if any changes are made from the Seeker Programs screen, and the user clicks on the "Door" icon without first clicking on the "Save" icon, the user will be prompted with the message; "Save all changes and exit the form? Yes/No/Cancel". If the user clicks "Yes" any changes made will be saved and they will be exited from the form. If the user clicks "No", the changes will not be saved, and they will be exited from the form. If the user clicks "Cancel" the changes will not be saved and the user will remain on the form. (Moved to production 11/10/04 SKIES Track Record Incident #1246) Statewide CPP Letters Statewide CPP Letters: duration indicates the amount of time as "minutes" even when hours is selected; the left side margin does not allow the address to fit in window envelope, the date shows in windowed envelop, the salutation shows in window envelope Issue 1: When a CPP Statewide Letter is created through either the Job Seeker, Core Services, Call IN or Job Seeker, Mass Call in a duration is selected. That duration is shown on the statewide CPP Letter that is created and mailed to customers. When a selection is made through the duration drop down list that is believed to represent hours, the letter displays the selection as minutes. For example, if selection 3 is made through the duration dropdown it is assumed that would represent 3 hours. What displays on the letter is 180 minutes. Repair 1: The letter will now display and print based on what is selected without converting it to minutes. Below identifies what will be displayed and printed on the letter based on what is selected through the duration through the Mass Call IN or Call informs for the statewide CPP Letters. This repair did not change the duration selection. Duration selection Letter display Issue 2: The left margin of the statewide CPP Letters is not wide enough so the address does not fit properly in standard windowed envelopes. Repair 2: The left margin was increased so the statewide CPP Letters seeker address will fall within the window of standard window envelopes Issue 3: The date on the statewide CPP Letters shows in the standard window envelope and should not Repair 3: The placement of the date on the statewide CPP templates was adjusted to center so it will not show in the standard window envelope Issue 4: There is not enough room between the last line of the seekers address on the statewide CPP Letters and the salutation so the salutation shows in the standard windowed envelope. Repair 4: Additional spaces were added between the last line of the seekers address and the salutation on the statewide CPP Letter templates. When folded just above the salutation the address will show in the standard windowed envelope, the salutation and date will not. (Moved to production 11/04/04 SKIES Track Record Incident #1250) RFS "processed" area continues to display records for prior day(s) when service time is BLANK Issue: Currently when staff are viewing records only for the "Current" day those RFS records that were recorded on previous days are showing in the lower area of the RFS form. This lower area of the RFS form is titled "processed" and only those records, based on the view selection, that have a service time should display in the "processed" area of the RFS form. A service time is recorded when the "select" button is chosen for a record in the upper portion of the RFS form. What is happening now is when the service time is BLANK and the day the original record was recorded has passed, those records are showing through the processed area in error. Repair: The view selection of the RFS records allows view for current day or for each day back to 6 days. Based on the existing view selection, those records with a BLANK service time will not show in the "processed" area of the RFS form. The records with a BLANK service time will display in the upper portion of the RFS form based on the view selection. (Moved into production on 10/18/2004 SKIES Track Record Incident #1210) View of the Job Order through Job Seeker, Job Placement "job order details" button displays incorrect employer name Issue: Through the Job Seeker, Job Placement form the job order for the seekers job referral can be viewed by selecting the "job order details button" through the "seeker referrals" tab. Once the job order is displayed, selection of the "F5" button through the "Description" tab of the Job Order displays the Employer Name the job order is attached to. The incorrect employer name was displayed. Repair: The correct Employer Name will now display through the Job Seeker, Job Placement form view of a job order.r. UPDATE: A second issue was reported at the same time as the above issue. At the time they appeared as if they may be related "Worksite address" for a Job Order not
always revealed No repair required: By viewing the worksite through the job order form it appears the F5 button is not correctly revealing the worksite address. In actuality asterisk have been manually input into the worksite address. A person viewing the information would not realize that the F5 button is actually displaying what was input which was asterisk. There is no repair required and this report is not an incident. The F5 button will hide and display what is input.
