DATA FIX REQUIREMENTS FOR GO2WORKSOURCE.COM/JobNet Mini-Registrations until SKIES Implementation Date

The Go2Worksource.com will undergo transformation this weekend (3/23/02 – 3/24/02) and the new version will be active sometime 3/23/02.  This means that the Mini-Registration portion that usually creates a Mini-Registration in JobNet will no longer occur.  In the interim until SKIES Implementation, staff will be required to “create” a mini registration in JobNet for those being referred to Suppressed Job Orders.  In order to accomplish that, the Date of Birth and Gender are required fields.  In order to “convert” that information into SKIES, we need consistent information recorded in JobNet in order to enable a “data fix” after Implementation Conversion has completed.

Process:

Field staff will be instructed to enter the Date of Birth as 01-01-89.  Gender can be either M/F whichever they choose. This is only for those records where a job referral is being made and a registration has to be entered.  Staff also need to be informed that as these records are accessed in the future, the Date of Birth and Gender are fields that must be updated.

From the Date 03/23/02 through the last date of operation of JobNet (JobNet shut down), a process needs to be written to change both the Date of Birth and Gender in SKIES to “NULL”.
