Training Services

  Job Interviews

The goal of our training program is to increase the employment, retention, earnings and skills of participants, and as a result, improve the quality of the workforce, reduce dependency and enhance the productivity of the area.

WorkSource Okanogan, and our partner agencies offer a number of training options to meet your needs:

The Computer Applications Training Lab
The CAT Lab offers training in a classroom environment with instructors you can relate to, who teach not just how, buy why. You get engaging instruction in an interactive setting with real world solutions to real life situations.
The Workforce Investment Act
Through the Workforce Investment Act, the area will have a motivated, diverse workforce sustained by a workforce development system that is customer-driven. This will be accomplished by closing the gap between the need of businesses for skilled workers and the supply of Washington residents prepared to meet that need.
Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
Among many other services, DVR strives to build work skills that will enable individuals to obtain sustained employment. This is accomplished through services that may include on-the-job training, vocational education or classroom training.
