SOICC stands for State Occupational Information Coordinating Committee. The SOICC is composed of administrators and directors of various Washington State government agencies.
The Washington SOICC seeks to promote an effective workforce investment strategy based on accurate, up-to-date occupational and labor market information and comprehensive career development systems. The SOICC also supports an individual's need to understand the linkage between education and work, and to assist that individual explore, plan, and make informed choices about their careers.
Our Mission:
To enhance the ability of all individuals to make informed education and career choices that enable them to succeed in an economy that requires higher levels of skill and knowledge; and to improve the capacity of employment, training, and education providers to meet individual and employer needs for labor market information.
