Using WorkSource Messaging

More Help Topics >>

This article describes how an employer may Send a Message through WorkSource Messaging to a job seeker.

If, in your resume search, you find a resume of interest where the job seeker chooses to be anonymous, you may contact the seeker through the WorkSource Messaging. By clicking the link to WorkSource Messaging on the resume, you may compose and send a message to the job seeker. The reply will be sent to the Message Center in your MyWorkSource account. A job seeker may reply to the message but is unable to initiate messages to employers.

Messaging Account Criteria:

  • Unsaved messages are retained for 30 days.
  • Sent messages are retained for 180 days.
  • Saved messages are retained for 180 days.
  • Messaging accounts are deleted when the account is deleted.
