This article describes how to register for a My WorkSource account on Go2WorkSource.com.
- On the home page, click the Log In or Register tab.

- Click the Job Seeker Registration button
- Read the WorkSource Washington Use Agreement. Indicate if you are legally
entitled to work in the United States by selecting Yes or No at the bottom of
the page. If you are legally entitled to work in the United States and agree
to the Use Agreement you will be directed to the Registration form. If you do
not agree to the WorkSource Washington Use Agreement or are not legally entitled
to work in the United States you will be unable to register for a My WorkSource
account and will be redirected to a page outlining features that are available
without registering.
- Under Step 1, fill in the your first name, middle initial and last name.
Your middle initial is recommended but not required.
- Fill in your Social Security Number. The field is split into three different
text areas to represent the Social Security Number format.
- Fill in your Street Address, City, Zip Code, State and Country. Address
line 2 and the +4 part of the Zip Code are optional. State and Country are defaulted
to WA and USA.
- Provide your Home Phone number, optional Alternate Phone number and E-mail
Address (optional but highly recommended).
- Specify if you have served in the U.S. Military Service by selecting Yes
or No. We need this information because there are special services we may be
able to offer you if you served in the U.S. Military.
- If you answered yes
to the military service question, check the checkbox below your answer if
you wish to be identified as a veteran to employers who give preference to
veterans when making hiring decisions as allowed by a
new state law.

- Under Step 2, select which Contact Information you would like to appear
when Registered Employers search WorkSource for résumés, or when you use your
résumé to apply for a job online. The options are Show Full Name (Recommended),
Show E-mail Address (Recommended), Show Home Phone, Show Mailing Address, Show
Alternate Phone, and Anonymous. Anonymous allows your résumés to appear without
your name or contact information. Interested employers may contact anonymous
applicants through our WorkSource Messaging service. Enter your E-mail address
twice for verification.

- Under Step 3, select all of the Locations where you are willing to work.
Selections are broken down into state regions, then counties.
- Under Step 4, fill in the required field, User ID. Your User ID must be
a minimum of 6 upper or lower case letters or numbers. Remember your User ID.
You will need it each time you log in to WorkSource Washington.
- Fill in the required field, Password. Your password must be between 6 to
10 upper or lower case letters or numbers. Passwords are case-sensitive. Enter
the password in the second field below for verification. Remember your password.
You will need it each time you log in to WorkSource Washington.

- Under Step 5, select one of the secret questions from the drop-down list
and type the answer in the space below. We will ask you for the answer to your
secret question if you need to log in to your account but can't remember your
User ID.

- After filling in all the required fields of the Registration Form, click
"Continue to Complete Résumé/Application Section of Your Registration" at the
bottom of the page.
