Enabling Cookies on Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0 & 6.0

  1. Click Tools then Internet Options.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Click to check mark the box next to Override Automatic Cookie Handling.
  5. Click the Accept radio button under First-party Cookies.
  6. Click the Accept radio button under Third-party Cookies.
  7. Click to check mark the box next to Always Allow Session Cookies.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Close and reopen your browser to activate the changes.

Enabling Cookies on Firefox 3.0 and 2.0

  1. Click Tools then Options.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Click the checkbox next to Accept Cookies.
  4. Click Ok.
  5. Exit and Relaunch the browser.

Cookie Filtering Override for Firefox

  1. Click Tools
  2. Select Options
  3. Choose the Privacy Tab
  4. Click Exceptions
       A.  Is the web site listed?
                 i. If yes, is the status "Block"
                         a. If yes, select the web site
                         b. Click Remove Site
                ii.  If no,
                        a. Type in the box the Address of the Web site
                        b. Click Allow

       B. Click Close
  5. Click OK
  6. Restart the Browser

Cookie Filtering Override for Internet Explorer

  1. Click Tools
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Choose Privacy tab
  4. Click Sites button
  5. In Managed Websites box, is the web site listed?
       A. If yes, does it say Always Block? 
                i. If yes, select the web site 
               ii. Click Remove
       B. If no, 
                i. Type the web site in the Address of Website box 
               ii. Click Allow
  6. Click OK
  7. Click OK again
  8. Restart your browser

Enabling Cookies on Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0

  1. Click Start, Settings and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. Scroll down to the Cookies section and select Enable.
  6. Click OK.

Enabling Cookies on Netscape® Communicator / Navigator 6.0

  1. Click Edit then Preferences.
  2. Click Privacy and Security, then Cookies.
  3. Click Enable all cookies.
  4. Click OK.

Enabling Cookies on Netscape® Communicator / Navigator 4.0

  1. Click Edit then Preferences.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click Accept All Cookies.
  4. Click OK.

Enabling Cookies on America Online® 9.0 & 8.0

  1. Close all browsers including AOL.
  2. Open Internet Explorer.
  3. Click Tools then Internet Options.
  4. Click Privacy.
  5. Click Advanced.
  6. Click to check mark the box next to Override Automatic Cookie Handling.
  7. Click the Accept radio button under First-party Cookies.
  8. Click the Accept radio button under Third-party Cookies.
  9. Click to check mark the box next to Always Allow Session Cookies.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click OK.
  12. Close and reopen your browser to activate the changes

Enabling Cookies on America Online® 7.0

  1. Click Start, Settings and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Click Advanced.
  5. Scroll down to the Cookies section and click Always Allow Session Cookies.
  6. Click OK.

Enabling Cookies on America Online® 6.0

  1. Click Start, Settings and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Click Advanced.
  5. Scroll down to the Cookies section and click Always Allow Session Cookies.
  6. Click OK.

Firefox 1.0

  1. Click Tools then Options.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Click Cache.
  4. Click to check mark the box for Allow sites to set cookies.
  5. Click to remove the checkmark to disable the for the originating web site only option.
  6. Click the arrow to select until they expire in the Keep Cookies field.
    Note: If this option is already checked, close the window to accept the Cookies settings.
  7. Click Ok.
  8. Exit and relaunch the browser.

Firefox 2.0 for Macintosh

  1. Click the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Privacy icon and scroll down to the Cookies section.
  3. Check the box next to Allow sites to set cookies.
  4. Click the "X" in the top left corner to close the Privacy window.
  5. Exit and re-launch the browser.

Safari 1.x & 2.0 for Macintosh

  1. Click the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Security icon.
  3. Select Always next to Accept Cookies.
  4. Click the X in the top left corner to close the Security window.
  5. Close and re-launch your browser.

Enabling JavaScript (back to top)

Internet Explorer

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Security' tab
  • Click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll down until you see section labled 'Scripting'
  • Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK

Netscape Navigator

  • Select 'Edit' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Preferences'
  • Choose 'Advanced'
  • Choose 'Scripts & Plugins'
  • Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click OK

Mozilla Firefox

  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Options'
  • Choose 'Web Features' from the left navigation
  • Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK

Apple Safari

  • Select 'Safari' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Preferences'
  • Choose 'Security'
  • Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'

Clearing Cache (back to top)

Internet Explorer
To clear your cache in Internet Explorer:

  • Log out of your Go2WorkSource account.
  • Close all other open browser windows.
  • Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Internet Options.'
  • Click the 'General' tab at the top of the dialogue box.
  • Click 'Delete Files' under 'Temporary Internet files.'
  • Select 'Delete all offline content' by checking the box.
  • Click 'OK.'

Mozilla Firefox
To clear your cache in Mozilla Firefox:

    Log out of your Go2WorkSource account. Close all other open browser windows. Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Options.' Click 'Privacy.' Click 'Clear' next to 'Cache.' Click 'OK.'

Mozilla and Netscape
To clear your cache in Mozilla and Netscape:

  • Log out of your Go2WorkSource account. Close all other open browser windows.
  •  Click the 'Edit' menu at the top of your browser, and select 'Preferences.'
  • Click the '+' next to 'Advanced.'
  • Select 'Cache' under 'Advanced.'
  • Click 'Clear Cache.'
  • Click 'OK.'

Safari
To clear your cache in Safari:

  • Log out of your Go2WorkSource account. Close all other open browser windows.
  • Open the 'Safari' menu on your browser's toolbar.
  • Select 'Empty Cache.'
  • Click 'Empty' in the dialogue box.

In some cases, it may be necessary to clear your cache more than once.
