Authorization of User Access to Go2WorkSource Referral Queues

The following instructions provide direction to the WorkSource job order holding offices that have a Pending List on the procedure to authorize specific staff to access to the Go2WorkSource.com Local Office Referral Queue (Pending List).

Referral Queue Access Approvers” – The Office Administrator of the order-holding office may be designated by the WorkSource Operations Division as having authority to designate staff in their office to access the Go2WorkSource.com Referral Queue to process requests for job referrals.

“Job Order holding office” is the designated assigning office associated with the job order when it was created in SKIES.

“Referral Queue User” is a staff person from the order holding office that has been authorized by the local Referral Queue Access Approver to process Go2WorkSource.com referral requests to SKIES job orders

Referral Queue Access Approver Designation

Effective April 2006, the Office Administrator for each existing Pending List office shall be designated as the Referral Queue Access Approver for each respective office. After April 2006, the process for establishing a NEW Pending List office shall be as follows:

bullet The Office Administrator of the job order holding office must submit a request in writing to Sandy Miller, WorkSource Operations Division, to request that a new Pending List office be designated.
bullet The WorkSource Operations Division approves or disapproves the designation and notifies the newly authorized order-holding office administrator and the Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrator of the decision.
bullet If approved, the Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrator publishes a listing showing the requesting Office Administrator as the Referral Queue Access Approver for the new Pending List office.

Referral Queue user business rules:

  • Each job order holding office MUST have at least one Referral Queue user designated by the local office Referral Queue Access Approver.
  • To qualify, a Referral Queue user must have an “Active” SKIES access account in the order-holding office with a SKIES STAFF role.
  • Referral Queue user account in the Go2WorkSource.com Administrative Utilities MUST be set up by the Information Security team ONLY when the request is made by Tina Pendon or Joe Racek, the Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrators.
  • The Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrator designates the appropriate administrative utility role from the following choices:
  • STAFF role means the user has read and write access to all Field Office tabs and can process referral transactions. The Field Office tabs are Reports, Manage Letters, and Referral Queue.
  • READ ONLY role means that the user has read-only access to all functions on Field Office tabs.
  • CENTRAL OFFICE role means that the users has read and write access to Central Office tabs and Field Office tabs. The Central Office tabs are Reports, Manage Offices, employer feedback, Seeker Feedback, Resumes, Job Orders, Manage Letters, and Referral Queue.
  • Referral Queue user cannot have two administrative utility roles at the same time.

Referral Queue User authorization process:

  1. The order-holding office Referral Queue Access Approver submits a request to Tina Pendon, the Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrator for a local staff person to have access to the associated Referral Queue. The request must contain the following data items:

User’s Last name, First name
SKIES User logon name
Phone number and email address
Office(s) Assignment
User Role designation

  1. Then Tina uses email to notify the Information Security team to set up an account in Go2WorkSource.com to access the Referral Queue for the specific order holding office(s). This email transmittal to the Information Security team will include the following data items:

Last name, First name
SKIES User logon name
Office Assignment
User Role designation

  1. Information Security team notifies Tina when the user account is set up and provides a system generated password.
  2. Tina notifies the user that their account is set up and provides the system generated password. The user will be prompted to change their password on the first logon.

Process to CHANGE or DELETE Users

At any time, WorkSource Operations Division or the local office Referral Queue Access Approver may notify Tina Pendon, the Go2WorkSource.com Security Administrator of a user change or deletion. Tina will notify the Information Security team of the requested change and take action to update the published list of designated Referral Queue users.
