Thanks to all of you for reporting problems in the new Version 7
web site and Referral Queues. Our developers have been working very
hard to fix as many of these problems as possible. Here is a list of
everything that has been FIXED so far.

During
July, the following incidents in Go2WorkSource were found and
repaired:

Employer using the copy an open job process to create a second job
was removing the work locations from the original job. This did
not remove the original job from Search Results, but it did make
the job impossible to find. This was fixed quickly once
identified.

WorkSource Job Orders, though closed in WorkSource, were not
updating to closed status in SKIES. A bug was found in how
WorkSource sends the status change to SKIES for some WorkSource
jobs. This is now working properly in Production.

Seeker Post Resume and Employer Post Job forms, for incomplete or
incorrect field entries, were showing error messages at the top of
the screen and not near the field where the error occurred. Users
were getting lost in the form and becoming frustrated. The forms
have been fixed.

Limited use of HTML tags is available in Seeker Copy/Paste Resume
and Employer Post Job forms but were not working properly either.
The errors have been found, fixed, and will be in Production by
August 1.

Employers reported the Post Job form confusing when they were
posting consecutive jobs. At the confirmation screen an employer
may simply select Post Another Job. This brought up the correct
form but it included the job details from the previous job.
Employers said no to this. The form has been changed to display
only the default settings.
- A
few isolated instances were reported of seekers unable to perform
routine processes after updating their resume. The update process
needed some fine tuning and this has been done.

For SKIES job orders, the Referrals Made counts between WorkSource
and SKIES had some inconsistencies. These have been found and
tested. The process to repair will include a data sync which
will run in test next week. Production fixes should follow soon
after.

Finally, Resume Scouts are returning only resumes not shown in a
previous Scout. This was a huge improvement to Resume Scouts
which could sometimes bring back 50 or more resumes again and
again, each time the Scout was run. Formatting of the Scout
Results form was also improved.

- Job Search results fields varies in width from page to
page
- Edit Referral Instructions - add capability to edit
additional paragraph
- Keyword Search has a limit of 40 characters - there should
be up to 255 characters allowed
- ADMIN - CO should be able to view FO letters
- Employer - Printable Version feature for viewing resumes
does not work properly
- User email is not showing on Feedback response
- ADMIN - WS Job Order missing employer record
- ADMIN Referral Queue - Remove any horizontal scrolling from
the split screen
- Quick Search & Advanced Search are incorrectly bringing up
WA & AJB jobs for Entry Level Only
- Job Order - copied WS Job Order is displaying wrong listed
by date
- ADMIN Resume Queue - resume builders in the Resume Queue
are creating application errors
- ADMIN FO Manage Letters - CO letters should not display in
FO letter pull-downs
Incidents fixed as of
5/31/06:
- Admin - Letter insert:
Job Link insert is pulling the wrong URL
- Seeker - Need
printer-friendly link so seekers can print out job orders
- Admin: SKIES job -
fully referred in Admin job record, in SKIES shows fully referred, yet is
still out on the Referral Queue
- Seeker: After login,
display Manage Resumes, not Update Registration
- Admin - Referrals by
Job ID report shows listed by date incorrectly
- Seeker Job Scouts -
Same jobs are being returned in next scout
- Referral Queue
Letters: System sending either one strange letter or double letters saying the
same thing
- Reports - Leading
zeros are missing in the SSNs on reports
- Employer - Return
emailing of resumes to WS & AJB jobs
- Admin - Contact flags
are different in SKIES than in WS (Contact Local Office & Go Direct)
Incidents fixed as of 5/22/06:
- WA jobs on Go2WS: Apply Instructions and Back to Search
Results link is missing - no contact info at all.
- Resume Queue detail is missing information on Resume Builder
resumes
- There is a problem with green entries coming on the referral queue list.
- Employer: Contact is unable to access his account
- Admin: Daily Transaction Report transaction dates are after hours and
cannot be sorted
- Admin - Daily Transaction Report - This report is not showing the date
and time of a transaction by office
- Employer - Manage Jobs - Converted job titles are long and the title
field does not wrap
- ADMIN - Referral Request Queue displays server error in applicant side of
split screen
- ADMIN - Referrals by JobID report is displaying transactions with 5/1/06
trans date
- Seeker - hide the close date on WA jobs
- ADMIN - Resume Queue and Job Queue not populating with all resumes and
jobs posted
- Referral Queue letters sent to seekers: subject line is misleading for
the way the staff are using the Referral Queue
- ADMIN - How to Apply instructions needs phone number deleted
- Employer password: Saves only the first 10 characters but instructions
say 20 characters
- Resume and Job Scouts are not running
- E
mployers cannot view applicants who apply with a resume builder – get WSapplication error
- ADMIN - Employer Registration approval is not working properly when
account is suspended
- Employer Quick Search - key word search is not working properly
- Employers having problem logging in to their account because of blank
last name
- ADMIN - Letters Management tab displaying Referral Decision and Referral
Decision as the 2 choices for Accept and Reject letters
- Job Scouts should be limited to five per seeker
