Perfecting Your Application (1 hour) Mondays, 11 to 12 p.m,
Defining Your Skills and Abilities (2 hours) 1st & 3rd Mondays 9 to 10:45 a.m.
Job Search Strategies (2 hours) 2nd & 4th Mondays 9 to 10:45 a.m.
Resumes & Cover Letters (2.5 hours) Wednesdays 9 to 11: 30 a.m.
Interviewing Techniques (2.5 hours) Fridays 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Resume Review Session (1 hour) Thursdays 11 a.m. to 12 noon
Job Search Review (1 hour) Mondays 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Money Smart (1.5 hours) Fridays 9 to 10:30 a.m.
WorkForce Investment Act Orientation (1.5 hours) 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Computer Basics (2 hours) 10:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Computer Tools for Job Search (3 hours) 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Job Corps Orientation – 2nd & 4th Thursdays 11 a.m. to noon - No sign up-Walk in’s welcomed. (16 yrs to 21yrs)
OnLine and Upward Computer based Workshops (3 hours- self paced) Monday to Thursday starting at 1:30 p.m.

Career Assessment. (Available via the internet off site or in the Resource Room)
JobFit -- A comprehensive profile of your strengths and preferred work environment and matches you to careers you would enjoy (allow for 1.5 to 2 hours)
Choices -- Discover (hands-on) how assessing your skills can help you compare your current skills with career options. You will leave with a printed copy of your results.

Learn new ways to identify your skills and abilities and how to market them to potential employers by creating a 60-second commercial.

** Job Search Strategies
Find jobs by looking at job search in a different way. Learn (hands on) how the Internet can expand your job search.
**Perfecting Applications
Get organized, stay focused and accomplish your goals! Learn effective methods for filling out employment applications . both on paper and online.

**Resumes & Cover Letters
Learn what makes a good resume and how it can set you apart from the competition. Find out how to create or refine your resume and hints about posting your resume online or submitting it via email.
(Suggestion: Take Skills & Abilities first)

Resume Review
After you have attended “Resumes and Cover Letter” and developed a basic resume, bring your master resume and a job announcement/job description for direct feedback about improving your resume to ‘hit the target’.

**Interviewing Techniques
Are certain interview questions hard for you? Do you have trouble tooting your own horn? Are there events in your employment or personal history that might raise red flags with potential employers? Do interviews just plain make you nervous? Join us for a comprehensive workshop that will cover this and much more! There will be plenty of time for practice, answers to questions.
