On-the-Job Training Resources
On-the-Job Training (OJT) is a valuable workforce tool
used to help
unemployed individuals return to work as soon as possible. Since this tool has
not been widely used in our state for some time, the goal of the Retooling
Washington's Workforce “On-the-Job Training” Workgroup is to expand and improve
its statewide use as one of many ways to address recent dislocation challenges.
The tools below are provided to assist with reestablishing and rebuilding local
staff awareness and knowledge of the basic structure and purpose of OJTs,
including best practices within our state and around the nation.
(You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the PDF files below. You can download this free software directly from Adobe.)
