Why System Performance?

The goal of System Performance is to provide meaningful data and analysis to system leaders: Once services are better defined and multiple management indicators are eliminated, the system will spend less time discussing what numbers mean and more time using information to develop better customer service strategies.

We believe every customer of this information, from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and our Governor to WDC board members and contractors, can use it to speak the same performance language. Together, these common conversations will lead us to improving service delivery for all WorkSource customers in our state.

State Performance

Each year, the Employment Security Department is responsible for submitting the Workforce Investment Act Title 1-B Annual Report (PDF) to DOL, highlighting WIA-funded activity statewide and at the level of each of the 12 WDAs and profiling those activities against the federal common measures. The most recent report, for program year 2011, was submitted in early October 2012.

The state also produces quarterly dashboards for statewide performance as well as each individual WDA. The statewide dashboards below contain the final data for 2nd quarter, program year 2012 as of February 14, 2013. You can also download and manipulate the entire dashboard file (Excel), which now incorporates the current office-level dashboard. (To change the data displayed in the Area Indicators and Area Measures tabs, use the dropdown in the Area Data tab to select the desired WDA.) All previous quarterly dashboards, as well as the PY11 Annual Dashboard file, are archived.

Reminder: By area and by office selections are made from the "Data" tabs in the upper left corner, using the drop-down menus.
