WISPR

WISPR (Workforce Investment Streamlined Performance Reporting) is a single, comprehensive reporting system, replacing the current reporting requirements of 7 ETA programs.  It is scheduled to replace the current reports beginning PY 2009 (July 1, 2009). It reports on the entire Workforce system, not just programs within the system.

Why WISPR?

US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has been directed by various oversight agencies to develop a system-wide system that will provide accurate information on Workforce activities.  ETA wants to know when an individual comes in contact with Workforce, how long they were in contact with Workforce, and what was the outcome.  In addition ETA would like to know the earnings for two quarters prior and three quarters after the individual leaves the Workforce system.  WISPR will provide those answers. For more information, see "What is WISPR"

WISPR Project Charter

The WISPR Project Charter describes the purpose and scope of the project.  It also contains links to the Federal legislation and ETA directives governing this project.

For additional information, contact Jay Clark, WISPR Coordinator.
