Members OnlyLegislative Session Conference CallsDonna Patrick, Public Policy Director, will hold a conference call each Thursday of the Legislative session to keep Council members apprised of session activities. Conference calls are held at 4:30 each Thursdays. Details about the conference calls and how to participate are on the Council's 2008 Legislative Conference Call flyer. Conflict of Interest Conflict of Interest forms are completed at each January meeting by all Council members. If you missed the January meeting, please complete the Conflict of Interest form after reading the Conflict of Interest policy.
Council Member Conference or Training Request Council member conference or training request forms need to be completed when a council member is requesting the Council pay for a conference or training related to the Council member's participation on the Council. You can sample one of them below: Upcoming Conferences of Interest "People on the Move" Transportation "Train the Trainer" Training, Eugene, Oregon: Scholarships AvailableWashington State Department of Transportation, Public Transportation Division is providing special RTAP Scholarships for the Eugene, Oregon session of the Easter Seals Project ACTION “People on the Move: Using All Transportation Options (ADA and beyond…)” training opportunity. People on the Move participants use the training and toolkit in many ways, including teaching individuals to use fixed-route public transportation, training transportation personnel to serve customers with disabilities, and working to identify and remedy environmental barriers that prevent access and use of public transit. Individuals who typically attend People on the Move include: Human service providers, transportation providers, school personnel, and individuals who use community transportation and advocates who support community change. More information about the conference is available in the conference brochure. This “People on the Move” training session is offered July 9-10, 2008, in Eugene, Oregon.
