Cool Stuff

Here's where we keep "the really good" stuff - things the Council and others in the developmental disabilities community are doing that's worth a look. Here's some of the latest:

  • Advocacy Matters - is a new series of videos highlighting the achievements of self-advocates are on the Informing Family/Building Trust website.  The Informing Families website helps families stay informed about changes the Division of Developmental Disabilities is making that may affect them.   You can get a sneak peek at the first video in the series by clicking on the picture below or by going to the Informing Families/Building Trust website.

  • The Arc of Washington hosts podcasts during legislative session that help keep you up-to-date.  Some of the videos are interesting because they help explain how laws and policy change happen.  You can scout out what they've done at the Arc of Washington's Podcast site.
